In 2003, the ReproMAX Board of Directors and Adenium Systems developed a new strategic plan based on the results of a market analysis that predicted major changes in the AEC market. This document is an overview of the products, services, and partnerships that define that strategic plan.
AEC market analysis identified billions of dollars of waste in the capital construction process resulting from inefficient progression of paper documents. The analysis predicted that AEC firms would dramatically increase their use of software to automate their internal processes, decrease waste and increase reliability and efficiency.
The expectation is widespread adoption of document management software by all members of the AEC industry during the next five years, and almost 100% adoption within 10 years.
Reprographic companies get a large percentage of their revenue from the inefficient document processes identified in the report. Therefore, unless reprographers can develop new sources of revenue, the adoption of document automation software could lead to decreased revenue and profits. Reprographers have to make a decision on whether they should embrace and encourage the changes, or to ignore and fight the transition.
Our strategy is to establish ReproMAX as the leading providers of digital document management services in the AEC market. This strategy intends to create significant new revenue and profits from electronic document management services as well as increase ReproMAX’s traditional printing services. To fulfill these objectives, we must provide a compelling reason for AEC customers to use ReproMAX’s document automation products and services.
